A triumphant return to the Oklahoma music scene! We'll be playing Mugfest 2011! Saturday, December 3rd at the Roxy Theatre in Muskogee OK. Dirty Mugs headline featuring some amazing regional bands. Brutally Frank (psychobilly from Joplin MO), Violent Affair (street punk okc), Hardtop for Kennedy (metal from Wagoner) and more TBA. Come one come all, for the annual biggest party in Oklahoma!

We leave for tour in 2 weeks. All of the dates have been posted on our
Facebook page as well as our website. We will be touring all of the tour with Combat Crisis, the Florida dates with The Angst and the northern part
of tour with Sped from New York. It is going to be a great time and we hope to see all of you when we come to your city!We also have a tour kick off show Friday, July 15 at Sauced. This is one of the first times in a while where every band is an Oklahoma local punk band. Tell your friends, family and everyone in between to come to this! Good food, good pizza and a damn good time.

I know it has been awhile since our last update, sorry about that. Right now we are booking our East Coast tour
with Combat Crisis in July. We will be hitting up NY, Philly, Boston, Florida...and everywhere in between. Check
out the flyer to the left. In other news, we are ordering new merch soon, getting some kick ass new designs as well. We got the first mix back from Razorblade for our three songs we have recorded. As you may remember, these were going onto the split with The Insurgence and being released on Unrepentant Records, but, unfortunately, Unrepentant is taking a break right now. We wish all the best for them and hope their label makes it through all of this. So, we should release the 3 songs as soon as we get the final mixes back.
Unrelated to the band itself, 3 of V/A's members, Grant, Zach and Dave, will be in Vegas for Punk Rock Bowling this weekend. If you see us, be sure to tell us hey. We should have merch and possibly our 3 new songs with us!

Thanks to everyone who came out to the show January 31, even though the weather was horrible it was good to see fans still coming to support their favorite bands. We are currently taking a few weeks off from shows to finish up our upcoming split EP with our good friends The Insurgence . It will be released on Unrepentant Records in the US and hopefully Razorblade-Music in Europe.In other news, our debut CD "Stand Trial" is now available at Interpunk. Make sure you pick a copy up if you haven't already! We are currently in the works of a summer tour with Combat Crisis from Pennsylvania. Tour dates will be uploaded soon! We are heading east so be on the look out!

The show December 11 at BLESSFEST has been cancelled, we are sorry to anyone who was planning on coming out this show. In other news, we are working hard on our next release which is going to be out on Unrepentant Records. We are also working on booking the next tour so if you want us to come to your city, let us know! We are not positive who we are going with yet but it will be damn good we can assure you of that! ViolentAffair.com is now up and running!
Violent Affair has finally joined Unrepentant Records for US support. "Stand Trial" will be released on Unrepentant Records later this year along with an upcoming split which is being talked about doing with our good friends Destruct from California.
In other news, our rhythm guitarist, brother, band member and friend Jesse has had a change of life and is being forced to leave the band for now. We have however gotten our good friend Dom, guitarist and drummer for the band The Rippers from Tulsa, OK, to fill in. We are hopefully not going to miss a beat with this switch up.
